Event report LSR action day for professions in Aachen

Diverse facets of the Account Manager job profile

On our job platform, we have been providing in-depth insights into the various job positions in our industry for several months now. For example, we also explain the job position of sales - a profession that is usually considered a very good start to a career in the industry. However, not all sales jobs are the same; the position can differ significantly depending on the company, area of responsibility and product portfolio of the company.

At the LSR Careers Day in Aachen, we also looked at the topic of sales and account managers and examined the job from three different angles. As an account manager, you are often at the center of many disciplines in the company. Interactions with customers, technical support, management, the R&D department and marketing are just as much a part of the job as consulting, project management and event planning.

If you work for a large device manufacturer, business trips can last several weeks - especially when you have to implement a new large device in a new laboratory. Beforehand, you plan the device according to the customer's wishes for a long time on your PC at home. We would like to thank Dr. Verena Barbarino (Miltenyi Biotec), Dr. Bernhard Migdal (Hamilton Germany) and Horst Kaudelka (Bio-Techne) for their honest insights into their individual career paths.

A big thank you also goes to the btS office in Aachen for the organization on site. We would love to come back!
