New board member for the specialist department Dr. Thorsten Ebel elected

Munich/Berlin - During its meeting at analytica in Munich, the Life Science Research (LSR) division of the German Diagnostics Industry Association (VDGH) elected Dr. Thorsten Ebel, Managing Director of Hamilton Germany GmbH, to its Board of Directors. He succeeds Dr. Barbara Müller, who resigned from the LSR Board at the turn of the year.

Dr. Thorsten Ebel has many years of experience in the life science research industry and brings extensive market and industry knowledge to the work of the Management Board. As Managing Director of Hamilton Germany GmbH, he is particularly familiar with the perspective of an internationally active company in the field of laboratory automation.

Dr. Barbara Müller, former Managing Director of Serva Electrophoresis GmbH, has supported the work of the specialist department for several years and provided important input from the perspective of an SME. The department would like to thank her for this.

The Association of the Diagnostics Industry (VDGH) is a trade association representing the interests of more than 100 companies operating in Germany with a total turnover of 5.5 billion euros in 2024. They manufacture examination systems and reagents for the diagnosis of human diseases, which generate a turnover of more than 2.4 billion euros, as well as instruments, reagents, test systems and consumables for research in the life sciences, which generate a turnover of 3.1 billion euros.
