In good old tradition, we held our scientific symposium on the very first day of the trade fair, which this year was dedicated to the future topics of AI and organoids. Artificial intelligence is likely to simplify, accelerate and refine numerous processes in the laboratory in the coming years. The analysis of large and complex data sets from big data experiments in particular is set to undergo profound change. In the field of organoids, pharmaceutical research in particular can benefit: New active ingredients can be tested on realistic models. At the same time, animal testing can be reduced. In addition, it is hoped that important insights will be gained into the understanding of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Company representatives discussed together with research and applied diagnostics and the chairs in front of the stage in Hall A3 were fully occupied for both sessions.
