Event report LSR Spotlight Forum 2024 – We enable Cell and Gene Therapy

They were intensive days, with the pleasing conclusion: the trade fair is back. Messe München hosted analytica, the world's leading trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology, from April 9 to 12, 2024. It is a highlight for the member companies of the LSR specialist department.

On the very first day of the trade fair, we organized the scientific symposium on the current LSR lighthouse topic of cell and gene therapy. As part of key note lectures and a subsequent panel discussion, we highlighted our expertise and our contribution to the production of these innovative therapeutic approaches. The LSR building blocks include numerous technologies along the manufacturing process: materials for production as well as technologies for quality control of the production steps, application and production in the clean room and the scalability of processes.

The chairs in front of the stage in Hall A3 were fully occupied and some listeners listened for the full two hours. During the panel discussion, the audience also asked numerous questions and thus contributed to the interaction.

We would like to thank the four speakers for their willingness to take part in the event and are already looking forward to the next LSR Spotlight Forum at analytica 2026, which will take place from March 24 - 27.
