Event report LSR action day for professions in Mainz

What are the tasks of application specialists and how does inside sales differ from digital sales? These and similar questions were explored by students from Johannes Gutenberg University and other institutions when they visited the LSR Careers Action Day at the FSV Mainz 05 stadium on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

This extraordinary setting was made possible because the Mainz-based location management company Bio-mindz GmbH was holding its industry get-together on the same day. Our four LSR members gave informative and entertaining presentations about their career paths and then answered the students' questions.

The cooperation with BioMindz GmbH was initiated by former LSR board member Gerd Battermann (Merck Chemicals GmbH). We would like to thank Ruben Alexander Neumann (Merck Chemicals GmbH), Anette Leue (Promega GmbH), Ceyhun Tamer (Miltenyi Biotec B.V. & Co. In a nutshell The Association of the Diagnostics Industry (VDGH)

As a trade association, the German Diagnostics Industry Association (VDGH) represents the interests of more than 100 companies operating in Germany with a total turnover of 5.4 billion euros in 2022. They manufacture examination systems and reagents for the diagnosis of human diseases, which generate a turnover of more than 2.3 billion euros, as well as instruments, reagents, test systems and consumables for research in the life sciences, which generate a turnover of 3.1 billion euros.
