Event report LSR action day for professions in Bochum

On May 3, 2023, the VDGH and the Life Sciences Student Initiative (btS e. V.) invited students to the Ruhr University Bochum. At the LSR action day for careers, five speakers gave an insight into their career at an LSR company.
We live and breathe research. Do you too?

VDGH organizer Carolin Schächterle welcomed five speakers together with our partner, the btS office in Bochum (Life Sciences Studierendeninitiative e. V.). Katharina Wetzel (Miltenyi Biotec B.V. & Co. KG) and Robert Marschall (QIAGEN GmbH) gave an insight into the world of sales. Daniel Langendörfer (Hamilton Germany GmbH) is a biotechnology engineer and has been working as a Technical Support Manager for many years. Andrzej Kuklinski (Merck Chemicals GmbH) and Falko Brinkmann (Eppendorf SE) then gave an insight into their lives as project managers. The subsequent get-together provided plenty of opportunity for bilateral exchange.

We would like to thank the five speakers for their willingness to take part in the event.
