The topics of the committee

The LSR Market Research Committee was established when the LSR specialist department was founded and has been a permanent fixture in the LSR network ever since. Our own benchmarks, such as the annual market and product survey and regular quarterly surveys, provide a detailed insight into market developments in Germany. We expand the market analysis by looking at related industries in Germany and calculating international leading panels from external sources.

Analysis of market development in Germany

The members of the committee regularly report sales figures to the head office and receive anonymized and averaged quarterly results, which enables each company to benchmark. The annual survey on customer segments and product categories expands our benchmarking offering. The confidentiality of the data is our top priority.

Projections for the LSR market in Europe and the USA

National market figures become more meaningful when they are supplemented by international figures. Publicly available company figures (share reports, press releases, etc.) are used jointly by the committee participants to calculate leading panels and other parameters and supplement the quarterly market analysis.

Analysis of the German market environment

LSR technologies are used in production facilities for diagnostic and therapeutic solutions (vaccines, cell and gene therapies, etc.). For this reason, the market development of these related industries is also an important parameter for LSR companies.

Tracking state subsidies and research funding

LSR members benefit from exclusive access to research funding data in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and France. This database includes all publicly accessible funding data in an otherwise unrivaled breadth and depth. It is therefore a useful tool for sales and marketing in the company - the most important scientific working groups, their heads and the current funding amounts can be extracted for each research topic.

Market research handbook

The calculated data is summarized once a year in an exclusive market report. The scope, depth and specificity are unique for the German market.
